Thank you for posting a picture of an Iraqi child. It's disturbing to see the girl's beautiful face in the same photo as a soldier and his gun. No child should ever see or experience what the Iraqi children face everyday. Thank you for your work!

This was amazing. The parallels of guns in your young lives and how things ended for your friend, the evolution of the men you became, just everything. Through it all I could feel your still-present shock. I am so sorry you lost someone whom you knew so well in a special time of your existences. I hope he and the other victims rest in peace.

I think this is because we removed apex predators from many areas, and now tick-carrying deer and tick-carrying smaller mammals are proliferating in many rural and semi-rural, not to mention highly suburban areas.
