She is dazzling, it is almost the equal of the iconic Nat'l Geo cover with the beautiful Afghani girl with similar lovely eyes. One wonders, twenty years hence, will her life still be so ruled by fear that she recalls her photographer with resentment and anger, as that Afghani did?

I am in love with this image.
I am an actress currently working on a devised piece about the oppression in Palestine. When i saw this image it meant so much to me. I have developed a sort of ritual and i look at this image whenever i want to do a piece of work about the play i am putting out. it means alot to me and thankyou for capturing this moment of this beautiful child.
