I agree its a very powerful image showing the horrible effects and suffering of those with AIDS but could you put up a warning first for such pics next time? I nearly had a heart attack when that pic popped up on my browser!

Saddening effect from looking at this photo and I immediately pray for her and I would like to hold her tight to my heart and heal her if I had that ability. I would give her the kiss of life and on the lips!! What does this picture show? Internal and/or external parasitism, poverty malnutrition, poisoning, dirty water, no water, drug toxication/poisoning? Am I to believe that this is "AIDS" and give money to corrupt organisationss so they can keep killing people similar to this poor woman, with their misdiagnosing and misapplying the wrong "medicine"? What was she "treated" with? Please with all the respect for the photographer, please answer me! Hopefully we will see in the coming article or story, an humble insightful and just answer with the respect for this woman and others who suffer. God bless, and greetings from Iceland.

Kristjan - While your questions are very important somewhere, I dont think its here.
However the fact that the photo raised your questions in such an emotional way belies the strength of the image, and of course the photographer.

The condition is really miserable for AIDS People. AIDS patients do need a lot care. Government should really look after such patients. i do believe these patients need a lot of care.One-sided views of what HIV is and how it affects those around us, have also largely contributed to the stigma and discrimination that is now affecting those living with HIV AIDS. Thanks to whose who helped such people to fight from aids.

Writing an essay or dissertation for your certificate requires that you speak to your audience (your professor) and use words that are familiar to him or her. If possible, write the essay or dissertation that is in their area of expertise.
