A woman holds a child in Gaza City's Beach Camp, one of the world's longest-standing refugee camps. The poverty in such areas often makes you feel as if you have taken a step back in time.
Zoriah,
Beautiful photograph as are many many of your others. I was meaning to make it t the Unrealities of War exhibit in hopes to meet you and compliment you on your work.
Thank you for what you are doing

How you capture these moments is beyond me, but each picture speaks loudly of the fact that we need more justice & more peace in this world. Keep up the great work.

this kind of photograph is so very important. it really strikes me, as i am a mother and cannot imagine raising my boys in conditions such as this. your 'eye' is becoming more and more sensitive zoriah... you're a true artist.
hope to see you {safe and sound} soon.

At the end of the clip, Kim admits, I think its so ironic that Im always giving my friends their closet makeovers, so for the roles to be reversed, its like, Oh my God. She took the words right out of our mouths.

crying tears babyyyyyyyyyy Annie Lennox - Universal Child (Strictly Come Dancing, 13.11.2010) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxFGzjuvVmw
i wonder where is she now...
"Universal Child"
How many mountains must you face before you learn to climb?
I'm gonna give you what it takes, my universal child.
I'm gonna try to find a way to keep you safe from harm.
I'm gonna build a special place, a shelter from the storm.
And I can see you, you're ev'rywhere, your portrait fills the sky.
I'm gonna wrap my arms 'round you, my universal child.
And when I look into your eyes, so innocent and pure,
I see the shadows of the things that you've had to endure.
I see the tracks of ev'ry tear that ran right down your face.
I see the hurt, I see the pain, I see the human race.
And I can feel you, you're ev'rywhere, shining like the sun.
I wish to God that kids like you could be like ev'ryone.
How many tumbles must it take before you learn to fly?
I'm going to help you spread your wings, my universal child.
I'm gonna help you to find a way to keep you safe from harm.
We're gonna build a special place, a shelter from the storm.
I can feel you, you're ev'rywhere, shining like the sun.
I wish to God that kids like you could be like ev'ryone.
And I wish to God that kids like you could be like ev'ryone.
