U.S. Soldiers on patrol in Baghdad, Iraq
I am not sure how this happens, but somehow I have managed to allow myself to be convinced to actually spend more time on this blog than less. Over the past few days I have received countless e-mails from people offering not just suggestions and support, but offers of services and some donations as well. In light of these new developments — thanks to all of you and your incredible kindness and willingness to help and stand by me — I am going to continue to bust my butt trying to make this blog the best it can be.
I am streamlining some processes that should make posting from the road easier; since most of my time is spent using crappy internet connections while traveling, this will be essential.
I am working on adding several new sections and features to the blog, including the idea of adding member rewards for paid subscribers. I am working on a section that will discuss camera equipment and technique and am considering making it interactive by inviting paid subscribers to post questions that I will then answer. For subscribers who are not interested in that, I am also considering offering signed exhibition prints for those subscribing at the $50 per month level and above.
I am also looking into the idea of making a section for guest contributors, which would feature a photo story from another photojournalist once a week or so. There are so many incredible photojournalists out there shooting amazing work yet only a fraction of it is ever seen. I would like to bring some of the best of the best here to show their work.
As you can see, the blog design has had another change. I have wanted the wide center column ever since I started this blog, but it was not until Jarek offered to donate his services and edit my CSS code that it became a reality. So, with a big THANK YOU to Jarek, the photos on this blog will now be BIG!!!
Once again, thank you all for your incredible support. I will be putting new content up very soon!
Have you considered the possibilities of a print-shop/print-system? There are many online shops where people can host their images for prints.
User like me, can go there, order some of your prints, the hoster prints them and sends them to me. I pay the hoster and he gives you 85% of the money back and keeps 15% for himself. You can easily upload your photos to the hoster.
Just an idea. I would buy some :)

Hey Zoriah,
It is good news to see you continue. As a photoreporter/writer myself, trying to survive by telling stories that matters to people, I felt a bit depressed to see you quit for economic reason.

Zoriah,
This is great news! I can feel the renewed energy. I love the wider center column.
Take care,

Congrats on the new plan. Perseverance, tenacity, and determination have always been notable keystones of your character; and these, along with the essence of Zoriah will allow you to overcome all manner of obstacles.

I hardly drop remarks, but i did a few searching and wound
up here ZORIAH - A PHOTOJOURNALIST AND WAR PHOTOGRAPHER'S BLOG: A
New Plan. And I actually do have a couple of questions for you if you tend not to mind.
Could it be only me or does it seem like some of these comments come across like
coming from brain dead individuals? :-P And, if you are writing at other online social
sites, I would like to keep up with anything new you have to post.
Could you make a list of the complete urls of your social pages like your
twitter feed, Facebook page or linkedin profile?
