I havent been updating this sight recently, mainly due to the fact that I have grown to absolutely hate TypePad (the company that puts out the software that this blog runs on.) Making posts has always been time consuming, but thanks to TypePad's bugs, poor interface and their even worse customer service, it has become too much to handle. As I am sure many of you notice, photos often display at different sizes, captions are sometimes one, two or three lines below an image, and sometimes actually IN the image itself. Fonts change attributes and size for no reason and things are just generally a mess. So, until I am able to get everything switched over to WordPress, we will have to continue to deal with this messy design.
To keep myself sane I am going to keep things simple until I am running this site on a new platform. I will not be posting as many feature stories until I have made the switch. In the meantime, I will be making some simpler posts that will hopefully keep me from throwing my computer out the window.
So, for the coming weeks I will be making more posts about photojournalism. I will draw your attention to a few of my favorites, point you to their sites and let you discover some new and amazing images. I will post some links to general photojournalism sites for those of you interested in learning more about the business side of things. Of course I will still post some recent images here and there (I have many more from my most recent trip to Haiti to share, an entire project in Bangladesh which I will post in several parts as well as my new series of negative sandwiched images of war fused with images of top models.)
Thank you all for your support and patience and I look forward to bringing you a new and improved blog over the coming months.
